Dr. C.William Ibbs is a professor Engineering and Project Management Program in the Dept. of Civil Engineering. He is widely recognized for his research and teaching expertise in the project management and project control areas. More than 150 of his papers have been published in scholarly journals, and he received the prestigious National Science Foundation's Presidential Investigator Award. Dr. Ibbs has served as visiting professor at MIT, the University of Wisconsin, Singapore's Nanyang Technological University and Indonesia's Tarumanagara University. He is also an active consultant on the subjects of construction labor productivity and delay analysis; and project management maturity. Dr. Ibbs also has been active in professional organizations, serving as the Research Director of the Project Management Institute. He earned B.S. and M.S. degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and a Ph.D. from U.C. Berkeley, all in civil engineering with a project management and finance emphasis. MOT Course(s): |
